TechVista hub here with the latest beta of Android 15 on my Pixel 8 Pro. As many of you know, we’ve been covering the best features of each Android version for years. This time, Android 15 focuses on smaller, more refined changes aimed at improving user experience. Here are the top five features you need to know about:

1. Private Space

Private Space allows you to create a secure section on your Android phone for your most confidential files and photos. You can set it up through Settings > Security & Privacy. Once activated, it can be accessed from the bottom of your app drawer, providing a secondary lock for top-secret activities and files.

2. The Little Things

This category includes numerous small updates that enhance the overall experience:

  • Rich Widget Previews: See live, real-time content in widgets before adding them to your home screen.
  • New Back Animation: Enjoy smoother transitions when navigating back through apps.
  • Bluetooth Audio Sharing: Pair multiple headphones to the same audio source if they support Bluetooth LE.
  • High Quality Mode for Webcam: Use your phone as a high-quality webcam.
  • Bluetooth Auto On: Bluetooth automatically turns back on after being off for a day.

 3.Improved Volume Sliders

The new volume sliders expand into a nearly full-screen overlay, showing all active audio sources and their individual volumes. This makes managing your audio settings clearer and more intuitive.

4. Partial Screen Recordings

Partial screen recordings allow you to record only specific apps rather than your entire screen. This is perfect for creating focused tutorials without exposing other activities on your phone.

5. Enhanced Notifications

Android 15 continues to excel in notification management:

  • Adaptive Vibrations: Adjusts vibration strength based on ambient noise and surface type.
  • Notification Cool Down: Helps manage excessive notifications from the same app.
  • Custom Vibration Patterns: Developers can now set unique vibration patterns for their apps, enhancing notification differentiation.

While these features may seem subtle, they collectively make using and owning an Android phone a much better experience. We are excited to see how these updates will roll out to more devices in the future.

Let me know what your favorite feature is in the comments below. Thanks for reading, and I’ll catch you in the next one. Peace!
